Planet Earth Hydroponics – Client Showcase
This week’s client showcase features Planet Earth Hydroponics! Located in gorgeous Santa Barbara, California, Planet Earth Hydroponics is a one-stop shop for all of your garden supply needs. They specialize in bulk pricing, grow room package deals, great customer service, and they now have a new responsive design for their Bigcommerce store.
Planet Earth Hydroponics was interested in having a custom, responsive design created for their online store. Their previous theme was not optimized for mobile, and did not take full advantage of the space available on the homepage. There also weren’t many call to actions to help direct a customer towards a particular product or category.
One of the main goals for the new design was to improve the navigation, footer, and the above the fold area of the homepage. Updating these areas would help to encourage bulk sales and commercial growers to purchase, and also notify customers about Planet Earth Hydroponics' fantastic customer service.
Before and After
Our designer utilized a color scheme that complimented Planet Earth Hydroponics’ logo, and featured call to action graphics above the fold. We also included images for their top selling categories directly on the homepage so customers could shop with ease.
