Sanitize Guyz is based in Birmingham, Alabama and is the first certified operator for sanitizing, disinfecting and deodorizing with Aseptic Health’s SanitizeIT solution.
They are a locally owned business with a proven solution to cleaning your residential or commercial space and leave it ‘Clinically Clean.’
The goal of this build was to create a professional, clean website that would communicate what they offer, who it’s for and why they need it while also providing the ability to schedule a consultation online.
Step 1: Review Submitted Info & Responses
We ask Website in a Day Clients to complete a questionnaire, select key pages and submit all business resources we will need at least 48 days before their scheduled build day.
This allows our team time to review, prepare questions and start planning our own resources for the project.
Step 2: Create Wireframes & Stylescape
Wireframes help to establish what content will be featured on the new site and where it should go.
By prioritizing content so it appears above the fold (what you see within your screen before it gets cut off and you have to scroll) we can make sure a site visitor sees key information first and is guided through the site.
Stylescape
Stylescapes help to determine the site elements and direction for the design. Our goal is to establish the color scheme, images, fonts and graphics that will be used for the new site.
Step 3: Review Wireframes & Stylescape in Zoom
During this call we review resources with the client to make sure we’re on the same page and haven’t missed anything (content, functionality, or design elements) that is a must have for the new site.
Step 4: Setup Wix Environment & Configure Settings
Once the wireframes and design have been locked in, our team gets to work creating the new site. This site was built in Wix with the bookings app and was built to be mobile-friendly.
Step 5: Review Site Environment & Final Changes in Zoom
After our team has built the site, we hop on a Zoom call to review the environment via screen share. Our project manager makes a note of any changes that need to be made and discusses final steps to prepare for launch.
Step 6: Launch Website & Deliver Training Video by the End of the Day
The final steps for launch kick off by following our Developer’s Checklist where we make sure filler text has been replaced, all links are linked, and the site has been tested on popular devices and browsers.
We then connect the domain, make sure the SSL is installed, and setup Google Analytics and Google Webmaster.
While this is happening, our project manager creates a training video for our client so they will have a resource to see how to manage and update their site within their specific environment.
Wix does offer a great help center with resources on how to manage and update the site, but we like to provide a personalized training video for our clients, so they feel comfortable with their new site!
